Conservation by Falconry

The rehabilitation of raptors and their Conservation benefit directly from Falconry’s knowledge and know-how.

For several decades, falconers around the world have experimented several techniques to take care of their birds of prey, train them and heal them. For example, the majority (if not all) of the techniques used by conservationists for breeding and reintroduction programs for endangered raptors, as well as those attempting to heal or rehabilitate birds of prey are techniques borrowed from Falconry.

In Morocco, the AMFCR is the only structure where it is possible to find experts who apply falconry techniques to the field of conservation and raptor rehabilitation.
